Wind|Farm is a proposed 500-square-foot energy park located outside the Wexner Center for the Arts and across from The Ohio State University main-campus Oval. Its centerpiece is a 70-foot-tall wind turbine generating electricity for exhibiting new video works in the Wexner Center galleries. The turbine will be gilded gold and decorated with a repeating text (my love is increasing) from an old Shaker hymn. The nouns (lightness, quickness, exactitude, visibility, multiplicity, consistency) painted onto the blades are titles for a set of essays, Six Memos for the Next Millennium, by the twentieth-century Italian writer, Italo Calvino.

Wind|Farm, culminates a trio of Living Culture Initiative artworks here (see The Beanfield and The Virtual Pasture) and completes rotation of this site from flowerbed, to vegetable garden, to livestock pasture, to carbon-storage bank and green-energy park.
