The sound of dreaming frogs prevails over the others.                                                                                                                                                                                                             Henry David Thoreau, Journal, 1851

Every sound was the final exhibition at the Center for Ongoing Research & Projects (COR&P) before its closing in October 2016. The exhibit included objects and materials related to my continuing development and revision of Thoreau’s Desk (requires some assembly) — a piece conceived for percussion trio and first performed in 2014 at the deCordova Sculpture Garden and Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts. For the exhibition Every sound I produced, together with COR&P, a false postcard of a 1912 drawing by Picasso and published a plan and score for Thoreau’s Desk.
